Kramers’ Seafood is the company behind the Isola Fish and Fishmasters brands. Based in Urk, the Netherlands, we develop and produce a wide range of fish and fish products for customers in the Netherlands and abroad, under both our own brands and private label.

History
Lubbertje Kramer
The roots of the Kramer family behind the Kramers’ Seafood company go back to 1962, with Lubbertje Kramer as one of the founders of the current commercial fishing industry in the North Sea and the fish processing industry in Urk.
Starting the fish processing by Hein Kramer
Hein Kramer was also a fisherman, just like his ancestors. In addition to his fishing company, Hein Kramer started in the industry in the 1970s and founded his own production facility.
Growth and development under the leadership of the brothers Lub en Klaas Kramer
Under the leadership of Lub and Klaas, the company has continued to grow and develop. New sales markets have been entered and business activities have been expanded by facilitating trade and storage of frozen fish products in addition to processing.

Next step and entering Hein en Hein
In 2020, the next step was taken with entering as board members the cousins Hein Kramer (son of Klaas) and Hein Kramer (son of Lub).
Under their leadership, a new strategy was developed, laying the foundation for the further development of the production facility at Het Noordgat 1 in Urk.
